grandmother is concerned that everyone thinks the christmas party starts at 5 pm because of the clips at church -- it does not start until 7 pm with a program in the church (singing, etc) then to the dining room for coffee and our special visitor -- all ladies bring goodies and pop and paper goods - cups and plates, etc. and then the clean up - everyone pitch in, thx. lois

A GRANDMOTHER UPDATE - WE HAVE ALL FINISHED DOING EIGHT WEEKS WITH GRANDMA AND IT WAS A GREAT SUCESS - GRANDMA ENJOYED ALL THE ACTIVITIES - IT TOOK HER A FEW WEEKS TO FIGURE IT OUT BUT NOW SHE IS ASKING ME WHO'S WEEK IS IT!!!! WE ARE STARTING IT OVER AGAIN AS OF NOV. 16TH

THERE HAS BEEN A EXTRA CHORE LIST POSTED IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM. SO NOW ALONG WITH YOUR WEEK TRY AND PITCH IN AND DO A JOB OR TWO - THEY ARE NOT TIME CONSUMING AND NOT HARD SO IF EVERYONE TRIES TO DO SOMETHING IT WILL BE CROSSED OFF IN NO TIME!!! GRANDKIDS ARE WELCOME TO PITCH IN!!!!!!!

GRANDMA HAS DECIDED TO BE WITH STEVE AND JEANNETTE AT THE CABIN FOR THANKSGIVING - SHE WILL BE GONE FROM WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY (UNLESS THEIR SCEDULE CHANGES).

Fifth Generation Baby Girl!!

Well, on October 21st, Mom became a great great grandma for the third time and I have another great grandchild!! Now there are five generations of Forstie girls, Mom, myself, Debbie, Ashley, and now baby Rihanna! She weighed 8lbs 12oz and is 22 inches long!! We feel so blessed to have another healthy great grandchild and can't wait to meet her in a couple weeks!!

Hello everyone, This cute little guy is our newest grandson! Cody Nathan Honkala was born October 30, 2008 to Mike and Brenda. He weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz.

THANKS JENNIFER FOR SETTING UP THE BLOG HERE IS THE UPDATE FOR THE FORSTIE CHRISTMAS PARTY ON DEC 23 AT THE CHURCH.

THIS YEAR WE DECIDED TO ELIMINATE THE HAM BUNS = HOPE EVERYONE IS FINE WITH THIS DECISION, SO FEED YOUR LITTLE DARLINGS AT HOME AND WE WILL SERVE GOODIES AND POP AT THE CHURCH.

THE PROGRAM IS SET UP AS THIS;

7 PM WE WILL MEET IN THE CHURCH FOR SINGING AND A CHRISTMAS GREETING
THE PROGRAM WILL BE SIMILAR TO LAST YEAR WITH DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS SINGING TOGETHER.

7:45 WE WILL RETURN TO THE DINING ROOM AND HAVE GOODIES (SO MOMS, BRING PLENTY TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE = YOU DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO BRING)
(ALSO IT WOULD BE GOOD IF THE AUNTS WOULD BRING PAPER CUPS, PLATES FOR YOUR FAMILIES)

AROUND 8 PM I HAVE A FEELING A VERY SPECIAL GUEST WILL BE ARRIVING TO BRING HIS SPECIAL CHRISTMAS GREETINGS.

AFTER ALL THE EXCITMENT IT WILL BE CLEAN UP TIME - HOPEFULLY EVERYONE WILL PITCH IN AND HELP

Hello everyone! This blog has been created for all the Forstie's to keep informed on family activities/parties, to share photos of new births, graduations, and etc. It is also to let everyone keep up to date on grandma's activities and on how she's doing. We hope that this works out to be a great form of communication with the whole forstie family!

Everyone please mark your calendars...the forstie family/santa party at the church is scheduled for December 23rd. This was the only night that the church was available, so we hope that everyone can make it!
